b okay so we're both in the storage
a okay um let's see
a so we've both done this before
b mhm
a so and
a okay right off off the top
a we can say that i would
a think that if we
a what does it say um mm
a okay i'll go with it what do you think
b i
b would like to have the records since i'm a record collector
b um but then
b if you own them
b what would you be willing to sell them to me for
a okay uh so i see that we're both collectors
a we're both collectors
b ouch
a um how about
a if we split um
a how about we split the locker
b okay
a and we could split the locker and
b if we split it what would you want
b i see three things of music i see one of this type
a okay
b and two of this type
b are you a collector of antiques as well
a mm mm somewhat
a somewhat uh
a how about okay say we split the locker
a but since you're
a interested in
a the records themselves um
a i'd be willing not to let you have 'em all
a but i'd be willing to say
a i'd be willing to take one crate
b okay
a i'm not greedy
b okay
a and we we can split the locker
a and if
a if we split split the locker and
a since you're interested in the records
a well we both are i'll tell you what
a i'd be willing to take mm one crate of the records
a and the lamps
b okay
a mhm
b both lamps
b i have the picture and which crate
a mm minute ooh
a it's two of okay
a i'll take this one since that's two beatles
a beatles collections themselves and i'll take the lamps
a uh it
b okay i just
a probably do better off to go off but in what i'm what i'm
a doing i think one one
a crate will be enough with the with the with the lamps
b okay well i think i just doubled my money
a mhm
b hmm
a i see
b with an outsider
b yeah 'cause i because because i can uh
b make copies of these and sell them if they're no longer found
b and incidentally too i used to work for c_b_s in real life c_b_s
a mhm
b television
b and they had a record division in santa maria
a mhm
b and some records they made then
b they no longer even copy the song anymore
a mhm mhm
b um i was an inspector so
b i remember off the wall by michael jackson coming through there
a yeah
b i remember hair
b i remember um
b it was a few other records
b and being a collector too i know they don't make eight tracks anymore they don't make the forty fives they don't make the big
a mhm and the l_ps
a mhm
b yeah
b so with these with some albums
b you can download them
a mhm
b and resell
b and you could do it legitimately from some record stores i know v_i_p does
a yeah you can always have 'em uh copy it on to c_ds as well
b yeah okay
b okay
b and this picture i don't know why this picture stood out
b i collect antiques as well and rare items
b this i can carbon copy because i can also paint
a mhm
b and sell the carbon copy
b so
b knowing that is it anything you would like to purchase back
a mm
b or trade
b and if so what would you be willing to give
a actually uh
a i think i'm gonna stick with what i have
a
b okay good choice
a i think i'm gonna stick with what i have
a my mother a
a a lover of um
a antiques and
a ooh year back in the seventies she bought some
a chinese um antique tables
a and
a one thing about my mother in law some things she would would hold on to forever and just wouldn't let 'em go
a and when i was that before okay
a before my husband and i got married she gave me those tables
a and the lamps with them and i think
a they would especially these would fit perfectly
a with that with that and having a um
a um an antique store
a they can bring a pretty price they can bring a pretty price
a mhm yeah
a mhm mhm
a i bet mhm
a mhm mhm
a i learned to um
a uh what is what is it my mother in law calls she says let's go bumming
a she calls it bumming and over in the fairfax area
a there's some um jewish
a secondhand stores and you can get some beautiful things
a i mean beautiful
a and um
a we've gotten things and we've sold 'em
a and resold them and oh my god
a and you can find a lotta things uh i i i learned from her years ago just
a going with her she used to take me everywhere
a and um
a actually we became quite close
a closer than than than my mother and um
a gosh she i learned so much from her and that's why um
a you get an eye for things you get you get an eye for things
a and those i find i find that secondhand stores and just
a this right here
a just like what we're we doing what we're doing you
a you can xxx and i've learned personally
a i have a um i have a sister-in-law that um
a lost some things in storage
a and i personally know anybody that got those units
a they ooh they really came up big
a no matter it it it it didn't matter what they paid for it they got
a well over their money's worth
a and that's ooh that's good money period
a mhm
a okay okay
a ooh yeah been they've gotten quite it's quite expensive
a i remember when they she started and they
a the rent goes up on those units ever so often sometimes it's more than once a year
a uh huh sometimes it's more than once a year
a and i know i know personally she has
a in one place she has like four units
a and it's like
a seven hundred and some dollars a month
a for those units i mean
a mm that's rent in some place you know for like a single or something like a xxx
a yeah but ooh mhm
a yes just to lift it yeah
a mhm yeah
a mhm mhm
a it is i believe that
a i believe that 'cause i know i just lost a
a entertainment center because my one of my sons and my nephew
a didn't wanna lift it because it was too heavy he was like
a aunty that thing is just too heavy you know and i
a oh well mhm
a ah gosh
a oh wow mhm
a i've i've seen you play the piano
a yeah press that button
a i've seen yeah that one
